You know when you have been looking forward to a wedding for such a long time? Well Gina & Ryan’s wedding was one of those for me!! I knew from the minute they came to visit me at my home to talk all things wedding and wedding photography that this was one pair who I couldn’t wait to get to know better in the run up to their big day. I will never forget the text I got from Gina to tell me she’d bought her Temperley London bridal gown; excitement overload!

The lovely couple got married last Friday at the fabulous Millbridge Court and partied until the early hours. Their day was styled to perfection; modern, sophisticated and elegant with a monochrome grey colour theme throughout. The Bridesmaids wore dark grey dresses from Ghost, and the boys wore custom made suits from Hackett London which pieced together beautifully with fragrant white and green florals by Boutique Blooms.

Let’s talk about Gina’s dress… a stunning Temperley London design with exquisite embroidery and a low back to die for. Her look was perfected with a red lip, a beautiful up-do hair design by Frayja Tedman, and a stunning pair of shimmery grey LK Bennetts.

After a gorgeous and very smilie ceremony, guests enjoyed bubbles and super tasty canapés from Kalm Kitchen, before sitting down for a candlelit dinner. After their plates were clean, toasts had finished, everyone happily danced the night away.

Congratulations to the most loveliest of couples, Georgina & Ryan, it was such an honour to photograph your day xx

Harriet & Dan | Wedding Day Preview | Brookfield Barn

Brookfield Barn is a gorgeous venue nested in the heart of Sussex, and it also became the cosy backdrop for Harriet & Dan’s October wedding at the weekend.

We were typically blessed with an all day downpour of rain, with gorgeous sunny weather either side of the day but that being said, the rain did not stop our fun. As I say to every bride, your day will be what it is and the weather will do it’s thing. If you end up with rain, snow or sun, it won’t impact on what you are all there for and the fun that you will have. You will always look back at your day and think it was perfect, rain and all.

So, back to this gorgeous autumnal wedding with berry shades, mini pumpkins and 2 DRESSES!!

The couple said their I do’s in an intimate in-door ceremony within the barn, with many fairy and festoon lights hanging overhead and the gentle whisper of a harp.

Due to the rain, their guests enjoyed much champagne and canapés inside the gorgeous and bright spaces within the venue itself, and the bridal party braved the rain with me for some gorgeous outdoor photos!

Yes that’s right, I did say 2 wedding dresses earlier didn’t I! The first stunning lace dress by Enzoani and the second ‘Megan Markle-esque’ design by Alison Clark Couture. Harriet looks so beautiful in both, and it must have felt so lovely to wear 2 very different dress styles on her wedding day! Her guests were very surprised and excited to see dress number 2 as well, which made it’s grand entrance when the couple were announced onto the dance floor for their first dance.

Congratulations Harriet & Dan!

Zoe & Callum | Millbridge Court | Wedding Day Preview

Absolutely loved photographing Zoe and Callum’s Millbridge Court wedding a couple of weekends ago. Scottish kilts, fantastic wild flowers and gorgeous food at a venue I love, Millbridge Court.

Zoe and Callum met back at university in their very first year! A story I can relate to as I also met my husband at uni. The couple are such a warm and insanely smilie couple who are clearly loved by so many people as there was such an incredible number of friends and family there on their wedding day – the largest wedding at Millbridge Court that I’ve photographed to date!

As always, I love working there and with some great suppliers too! The fabulous Sharon Roberts turned Zoe’s hair into a master piece; why is this woman not available daily to help me with my barnet?! The most glam yet understated bride EVER, for a £160 dress from and she ROCKED it. She looked completely and utterly stunning – £60s VERY well spent!!!

The venue was decorated with lovely wild flowers and pastel coloured balloons by Bubblegum Balloons. Not forgetting the incredible Kalm Kitchen Doughnut Wall station which Zoe and Callum had instead of a traditional wedding cake; they ‘shared a bite’ rather than cutting a cake! So much fun.

We were blessed with nice weather so guests played a few lawn games and enjoyed top ups of bubble outside as well as rather scrummy canapés from the delightful Kalm Kitchen.

After some fantastic speeches and a huge sugar rush post devouring doughnuts and mini desserts from the Pattiserie Bar, guests got physical learning some FANTASTIC Ceildih moves.

Here’s a lovely message I received from the Bride and Groom while they were on honeymoon:

The sneak peak is absolutely fantastic, in particular the photo of me and my dad and Cal with the boys just made my heart melt.

“You really added so much more to our day than just photos. You were totally right when you said people often think you’re a guest because of the way you blend in – all our friends and family loved you! We will also never forget your face in the middle of the first Ceilidh with everyone came charging towards you!”

Congratulations to Zoe and Callum xx
