Bright summer florals, royal residence backdrops in the countryside of Hertfordshire mixed with Chinese street food and one gorgeous couple best describes Saturday’s beautiful wedding.

Katie and Olly said their own personal vows at St Paul’s Walden Bury, the late Queen Mother’s childhood home, in an intimate ceremony room. They celebrated their wedding in the extensive and breath taking grounds of the stately home, providing lawn games for guests to get involved in while treating themselves to tasty ice creams by Elsie’s Ice’s and cocktails. A refreshing take on a traditional champagne reception with canapes and the guests loved it!

There was even a specially arranged visit from a fluffy VIP guest…

Guests proceeded to walk through the gorgeous grounds to a marquee for the wedding breakfast which was lit with ceiling fairy lights, many table tealights as well as tables lined with bright florals by Foxgloves & Alice.

Katie & Olly opted for a less traditional wedding breakfast, with a Chinese Street Food Stall by Mei Mei Street Cart. Such an incredible idea and the food was AMAZING!!! I got to sample a couple of plates ;-P

The couple and their guests delved into a fabulous array of home baked treats by their guests, as well as an incredible cake baked by a friend Tor’s Shimmering Sponges.

A fantastic day for everyone with amazing food and entertainment, including a brilliantly choreographed first dance! Congratulations to the happy couple!
