Carlton Club Central London Covid Wedding

Carlton Club Central London Covid Wedding

Emily & Ed Wedding Day Preview

Carlton Club, London

So excited to share with beautiful London wedding, ‘Covid style’. Emily and Ed weren’t going to let Coronavirus or the crappy change from 30 to 15 guests ruin their day. With a lot of determination to keep their beloved guest list of 30, they pulled it forward by 2 weeks, all in the space of 24 hours!! What absolutely LEGENDS.

It was the MOST wonderful day, I almost forgot that we were in the midst of a Global Pandemic (aside from the silly masks in the Church). We had a lovely girlie morning at 11 Cadogan Gardens in Chelsea in the LARGEST suite I’ve ever seen. So much space to safely work and for the girls to get ready together. Their ceremony was equally lovely, although I wasn’t allowed to take ‘any’ photos in the Church, I managed to sneak in a few without causing any disruption (so glad I took the risk despite being a little terrified by the vicars wrath).

After their ceremony, guests took taxis into Central to The Carlton Club; a private members club where they only host a handful of weddings each year (they should definitely do more, it was so nice!). Guests enjoyed some bubbly in the most lavish of reception rooms, and we took to the streets for some really beautiful city style couple portraits.

A 6 course dinner was then served with some wonderful speeches throughout. Emily, Ed and all their super welcoming guests enjoyed a wonderful evening, as did I. Thank you again for letting me be a part of such a special occasion – it meant the world.

I must end with this rather apt quote:

GINNY WEASLEY: “It seems silly doesn’t it? A wedding. Given everything that’s going on.”

HARRY POTTER: “Maybe that’s the reason to have it. Because of everything that’s going on”.

Zoe & James | Millbridge Court | Wedding Day Preview

Surrey Wedding Photographer

Zoe and James celebrated their marriage at Millbridge Court last weekend and I was the lucky one there to capture the whole thing! I really do love autumn weddings, even the rain didn’t dampen any spirits!

Zoe and James chose a super chic winter grey and blush theme for their day, with stunning florals by Fairynuff Flowers and coloured linen to dress the tables.

Their wedding was full of gorgeous details, so naturally I was in heaven!

The dress code was evening wear so guests dressed to impress in tuxes and gorgeous evening gowns with Zoe wearing a glamorous sparkling gown from Pronovias.

As with winter weddings, the light disappears a lot earlier, so in order to get some lovely photos in the light, Zoe and James opted for a ‘first look’. A first look is a beautiful moment where the bride and groom get to see each other before the ceremony so they can take it all in, get rid of any jitters and enjoy some time together. They are becoming more and more popular, and I would definitely recommend them for winter weddings!

After their first look, Zoe returned to the bridal suite for touch ups while guests took their seats ready for the ceremony. Zoe and James wrote their own beautiful vows, and after lots of loud cheering, were announced husband and wife!

After the ceremony, guests tucked into delicious canapés from Kalm Kitchen before being called into dinner for a huge feast. Entertainment levels were on a high at Zoe and James’ wedding, with guests carving their dinner at the table as well as serving the largest portions of chocolatey pavlova I think anyone has ever seen! As soon as guests began eating their dessert, they were all surprised by singing waiters that had everyone on their feet, waving shoes in the air and doing the conga. It was awesome and so much fun for everyone!

After cutting their glorious cake, guests were treated to gin and tonics and the bride and groom’s first dance.

A fabulous wedding to be a part of, thank you so much Zoe and James for trusting me to capture it all for you.

Ultra Violet Pantone Wedding at Farnham Castle | Fireworks

Ultra Violet Pantone Wedding at Farnham Castle | Fireworks

Emily & Gareth | Wedding Preview | Farnham Castle

Since the ultra violet Pantone colour of the year was announced, I was wondering when I’d photograph a wedding incorporating the colour! This wedding shows how you can mix the colour with bright tones of summer perfectly!

Taking it back to the beginning… Farnham Castle is such a magical venue to get married in, and this stunning Surrey wedding venue is where Emily and Gareth chose to tie the knot last weekend!

It was a bright sunny day with a light chill; perfect autumnal weather for a wedding and very pretty light for photos. I started with the girls in the morning which was very calm indeed as the girls got ready and enjoyed bubbles.

The boys arrived at the castle looking very sharp followed by Gareth in a beautiful vintage Morgan car, complete with bespoke wedding number plates for the big day!

This ceremony will be one I won’t forget for a long time. Not only did the bridal party walk a very emotional walk down the aisle, but the groom and his best men enjoyed a ‘big entrance’ too, dancing down the aisle to Bruno Mars! After a beautiful and very emotional ceremony, guests enjoyed canapés within the castle while we went outside for photographs around the grounds.

After guests had tucked into their dinner, they had an evening jam packed with entertainment! Including a performance from a ‘Jersey Boys’ evening band, a crisp snack bar, a bouncy castle and of course, watching the Farnham fireworks in the rose garden.

Such a fantastic day and one I enjoyed being a part of so very much.

Emily and Gareth – big congratulations to you both and I hope you are having an amazing time in Hawaii.

Caitlin & Ciaran | Wedding Day Preview | Fulham Palace

Fulham Palace Photographer

Caitlin and Ciaran celebrated their wedding last Saturday and boy was is gorgeous!

I arrived at Caitlin’s parents home in the morning and was welcomed with a gigantic hug and cup of tea – what a way to start a wedding day! We had a fab morning of makeup, lots of giggles and the most amazing bridal reveal with the best happy facial expressions I’ve ever seen!

After a magical morning, I headed of to  Holy Trinity Church in Brook Green to meet Ciaran and their guests who were eagerly waiting for the bride’s arrival. The ceremony was beautiful and the church was filled with stunning gospel voices during the hymns and the signing of the register.

The church has a lot of significance for Caitlin, as this is where her grandparents also got married, so we recreated a photo outside the church after the ceremony before heading off to the magnificent Fulham Palace for their reception. Guests arrived on red London buses and after a gynormous confetti line, guests enjoy canapés and bubbly before taking their seats for a candle and fairy light lit dinner. Guests then laughed away to some great speeches, including one form the bride herself, and who their tummies were settled they took to the dance floor for a good old ceilidh!

Caitlin & Ciaran are now honeymooning in Brazil (so jealous!!) and I cannot wait to see them one they return to show them their photos, but for now here’s a small sneak peek from their special day…
