Style & approach…
My work is inspired by dreamy light, nature, and intimate moments. I use a very natural yet stylish approach in my photography which allows me to tell a story and capture people’s personalities and emotions in a romantic, beautiful, authentic way. I achieve this through my unobtrusive and reportage candid style mixed with natural and stylish portraits.
I am very friendly and approachable if guests want me to take their picture, but ultimately, I will be gliding in and out and trying to keep a low profile so that I can document your wedding as it naturally unfolds.
Although my style is more documentary, I understand many couples want those important group portraits and I am more than happy to accommodate these.
I would advise to keep this number to a max of 10 group shots. Any more than this and I could miss other key moments, but more importantly, this puts a hold on you being able to get stuck in and enjoy every part of your day with your guests! (and you may miss the extra top ups of bubbly!!)
At some point in the day, usually when guests are enjoying canapes, we will sneak off for 30 minutes or so to create some beautiful ‘fine art’ inspired portraits of the two of you. No forced or awkward posing – simply natural romance.
It’s the little things that count…
From the moment you book me, right up until your photo presentation, I want you to feel special. It is all about the experience and the little touches along the way, not just about my service on the day of your wedding. I am always on the end of the phone for all my couples, whether it’s advice, recommendations or just for a chat! I want to get to know you, because I care about the two of you, and your wedding, and if I can help in more ways than one, I absolutely will.
Quality, not quantity…
Wedding photographs are such an important investment, and when my couples book me they are trusting me to beautifully document one of the most important days of their lives.
I want you to know that every wedding is important to me, and every couple is important to me. You are not just simply another ‘booking’. I like to build trust and a relationship with my couples, because your wedding matters to me.
Photographing a wedding is also extremely physical and the hours spent after your wedding to make every image absolutely PERFECT takes time and should never be rushed.
For these exact reasons, I only choose to photograph a max of 20 UK and 2 destination weddings a year to ensure each couple receives the best quality service and product. Booking in advance is recommended.
